A different angle.

Taken from the top of the Ellsworth Rd Car Park.

Sligo Creek Park runs across Montgomery County.

As you enter Downtown Silver Spring on Georgia Ave you are greeted by this welcome sign.

The Capitol Beltway (I-495) circles Washington DC. This is the start of the evening rush hour as it approaches Georgia Ave.

The Mormon Temple at night

American Film Institute Theatre. It was originally built in 1938 and the restoration, completed in 2003, was part of the regeneration of Downtown.

Just went for a drive around the local houses looking for Christmas lights. Not the most extravagant but I liked the way the lights lit up the tree.

The Tastee Diner is a Silver Spring landmark. It was originally built on the site of what is now the Discovery Building. When construction started it was moved a few blocks to its present location.

This is the front of the Discovery Communications building which is highlighted by lights which change color.

The company I work for was videoing the Montgomery County Cheerleading Competition at Blair High School. Not the greatest image but I had to snap it quickly during a 30 second break in the action.
